The Texas Barber & Cosmetology Advisory Council plays an integral role in advocacy efforts, promoting the esteem and professionalism of barber &  cosmetology careers, and collaborating to provide a wide range of professional development and continuing education opportunities for our members through networking, industry partnerships, and sourcing new manufacturers and suppliers.

Nominations and elections are held once every three years. Advisory council members are held to a three term limit.
